How do you see yourself?
The image that you hold of yourself will control your behaviour?
Everything that you will ever be, is already within you?
“We act, behave and feel according to what we consider our self-image to be and we do not deviate from this pattern”.
- Dr Maxwell Maltz
Today’s tool is “The power of self-image”. For years I have held the wrong self-image about myself which kept me stuck. However, after Iand was introduced to the concept of self-image, I began to explore the way I saw myself, and it was not good. I guess I was like a lion, but saw myself as a cat, always trying to play small so that others would not judge me. People can be in very successful careers, appear to be happy and loving lives, but behind closed doors, actually hate their lives and hold a negative self-image.
Read the two quotes below, what do they mean to you?
“The results that you are currently seeing in your life, are a physical manifestation of the image that you hold in your subconscious mind which directs your life.”
– Bob Proctor
“As a man thinketh in his heart so is he.”
– James Allen
