Day 2. – What Are You Expecting?

What do you expect from life? You can’t find what you are not searching for! What are you searching for? Today, will you choose to develop an attitude of abundance?

Today’s Tool is “Living With An Abundance Mind-set”. We all desire to live a life of abundance. I am not referring only to money but a life where you are happy and fulfilled.

It may appear impossible to live an life of abundance, but it’s not. Everything starts in the mind (belief). Change the belief, change the outcome. So make the decision if you have not already done so to develop a mind set of abundance.

What Does Abundance Mean?

It means a very large quantity of something. “Abundant life” refers to life in its abounding fullness of joy and strength for mind, body, and soul. “Abundant life” signifies a contrast to feelings of lack, emptiness, and dissatisfaction, and such feelings may motivate a person to seek for the meaning of life and a change in their life.

Abundance is natural, it is on offer for us all, but only if you want it. What are you expecting from life? As I have mentioned a few times previously in other blogs, you get out of life, not what you want but what you expect. Where your focus goes – energy flows. Many people live with the belief of lack and loss; ‘there is not enough for everyone, someone else’s wins means a loss to me’. This is not the case. There is more than enough to go around.

Time To Take Action

How to develop an abundance mentality

Step 1- Be grateful for what you have already, there is someone, somewhere that wishes that they had what you have. Count your blessings, focus on what you do have rather than on what you don’t. If you are not grateful with what you have why would you be given more?

Step 2 – Develop the mind -set that there is enough for everyone. Expect and believe that you already live a life of abundance. Success is not only for a selective few but for us all. Say to yourself on a daily basis “I choose to live a life of abundance, I know there is more than enough for us all”.

Step 3 – Dr Robert Hidden suggested 10 practical ways to increase your abundance which are as follows:

1. Accept yourself, – It’s important to love and accept yourself, knowing that you are perfect just the way you are. 2. Build Relationships – To feel connected to others and not to be alone. 3. Set Goals – Know what you want. 4. Money – Have a mind-set that money is not everything. 5. Receiving – There are no shortages, only a lack of willingness to receive. 6. Giving – When you give to others you are giving to yourself. Give without conditions. 7. Purpose – Discover your purpose for being here; knowing your purpose allows you to connect to something that is bigger than yourself. 8. Forgiveness – When we hold onto grievances, it causes us more pain than it does to the other person or people. 9. Gratitude – On a daily basis you should practice gratitude. 10. Be presence – Don’t spend your life living in the past or too much time worrying about the future, rather enjoy the present moment. Right here, right now be present.
